Primary Health Care

Offered through our Occupational Health clinics which can be used for family planning, treatment of minor ailments, work-related injuries, long-term disorders and more.

Curative care

  • Treatment of minor injuries and ailments will be conducted. Any minor injury or ailment will be assessed and treated accordingly. If necessary, the employee will be referred for further treatment.

  • Chronic disease management will be conducted on employees diagnosed with chronic conditions such as diabetes, and hypertension. Screening tests will be conducted monthly or more often depending on the results and to ensure compliance in taking chronic medication.

Medical Screening

  • A physical assessment will be conducted on employees suffering from a minor ailment, not work-related. Their medical history will be recorded, and an appropriate physical examination will be conducted.

Preventative Care

  • Flu vaccinations can be administered annually during the flu season to prevent absenteeism due to Flu.

Reproductive Health Care

  • Reproductive health medication and injectables can be dispensed free of charge if the clinic has a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Health.

    Alternatively, the company can purchase reproductive health medication and injectables.

    Reproductive health medication and injectables can only be dispensed under the following conditions, the clinic must be issued with a dispensing license and permit by the Department of Health.

Medication

  • Ailments can be treated at the clinic with unscheduled and or scheduled medication according to an approved budget.

    Dispensing of scheduled medication can only be dispensed under the following conditions, the clinic must be issued with a dispensing license and permit by the Department of Health.

In Service Health Training and Education

  • These programmes will address the health needs (as identified) of the client.
